Credits & data sources
Marin Grids stitches together a few public sources to make a venue-first events grid. This page lists the third-party services we depend on. None of them are affiliated with Marin Grids; we just link to and quote them where useful.
Live recordings
Live recordings on venue pages come via Relisten — an open catalog of live music recordings — which in turn harvests from the Internet Archive Live Music Archive, Phish.in, jerrygarcia.com, panicstream.com, and phantasytour.com. Audio bytes stream directly from the source archive — Marin Grids never proxies or re-hosts recordings.
Live recordings provided by Relisten and the Internet Archive Live Music Archive. Marin Grids is not affiliated with Relisten, the Internet Archive, the artists, or the venues. Recordings are non-commercial and remain the property of the tapers and bands.
Audio infrastructure
Every <audio> element on a venue page points at archive.org directly. We do not cache, transcode, or rebroadcast audio. Bands and tapers retain control of their material at the source.
Venue & event information
Venue addresses, hours, logos and other metadata come from Google, Brandfetch and the venue's public website. Show listings are discovered from venue public events pages. The official source for any show is always the venue's own website or ticketing partner.
